Macon Resident Dog to Compete at Westminster

I pretty much can barely contain myself at the excitement that my own dog, CH Axcium’s StarStruck, “STRIKER”, is heading to Westminster Kennel Club Dog show to compete with the top dogs in the WORLD. WESTMINSTER!!!!  It’s THE SHOW. I have waited for what feels like a lifetime for this opportunity and have spent the past few months getting him prepared for this journey. Striker finished his championship quickly last year in just a few shows at under a year old and almost reached his Grand Championship title afterwards, during that time, he beat the number one mini in the country twice. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it to the big show (money, child, work and business-  life things!), so I will have my eyes glued to the LIVE Broadcasts online and on the app on February 14th, where he will be expertly handled by his co-owner and breeder, Hilde Haakensen, who lives in Atlanta. No matter how he does, we are incredibly proud of the accomplishments of this very promising young dog.

When Striker is not showing, he is a very loved and spoiled family brat companion that loves stealing toys and shoes and hiding them in the yard! He loves following around my 4.5 year old son and it is pretty much his life goal is to steal anything my child is playing with.

Striker will be in Ring 8, at 3:15 on 2/14, Valentine’s Day and his beautiful handler will be wearing Armband #19.  I wish them GOOD LUCK on this journey!!
